Heavy Easter: Wacken Open Air announces 30 new acts!

Only 101 days left until the metal showdown of the year! Just in time for this Easter weekend, new announcements for Wacken Open Air 2025 have been made! 
 
Denmark’s top export D-A-D, Swedish hard rockers Nestor, and Vienna’s loudest rock band Vulvarine are joining the lineup.
 
There is reinforcement in the power metal section as well: Both the luminaries Nightmare, active since 1979, and the shooting stars Induction around guitarist Tim Hansen, who follows the musical footsteps of his father, Helloween singer Kai Hansen, are new on board.
 
The industrial duo Skynd dedicate their lyrics to true crime and already gave W:O:A fans goosebumps for the first time in 2019. Bad Loverz are no strangers for sure and will celebrate the glam rock genre in all its forms and colors with their W:O:A debut!
 
Other new additions include post-hardcore icons Helmet, Scandinavian black metallers Dark Funeral, British punk legends UK Subs, German metalcore up-and-coming talents From Fall To Spring and the Duke of Spook himself Wednesday 13.
 
Another highlight will be the first appearance of jazz pianist and composer Joja Wendt, who promises a “Special Iron Keys Show,” as well as the return of comedy superstar Torsten Sträter. Sträter made his Wacken Open Air debut in 2023 and will bring not only his black hat but also his unique dark humor back to the ground. True to his motto: “Always give 100 percent – ​​except when donating blood!”
 
And here’s another important date: Starting Friday, April 25 at 10 am CET, you can book the Access Pass for all camping areas via the Wacken Ticketcenter. This marks the continuation of the successfully implemented travel concept introduced by Wacken Open Air in 2024. Like last year, fans can arrive starting Sunday (July 27). This means a full week of Wacken for metalheads!
