Swedish hard rock outfit Ghost has just announced “Phantomine”, a five-song covers EP comprised of classic covers and deep cuts by Genesis, Iron Maiden, Television, The Stranglers, and Tina Turner. The band fronted by Tobias Forge has also unveiled its cover of Genesis’ “Jesus He Knows Me.” You can listen to the song and watch the age-restricted music video below.
Besides “Jesus He Knows Me,” the EP includes the group covering Television’s “See No Evil,” The Stranglers’ “Hanging Around,” Iron Maiden’s “Phantom of the Opera,” and Tina Turner’s “We Don’t Need Another Hero (Thunderdome).” The EP is set to be released on May 18th via Loma Vista Recordings.
Accompanying the music video for “Jesus He Knows Me” is a half-hour radio call-in show titled “Jesus Talk” hosted by “Father Jim DeFroque.

Ghost will go on tour across the U.S. with special guest Amon Amarth. The Re-Imperatour kicks off on Wednesday, August 2 in Concord, California at Concord Pavilion, with stops in Salt Lake City, Chicago, Cincinnati, Austin, and more before wrapping up with the band’s Monday, September 11 return to the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
