Dave Grohl took to the stage with indie supergroup Boygenius last night (October 31) during the band’s special Halloween show at the Hollywood Bowl in California.

The Foo Fighters frontman played drums for the group during their song ‘Satanist’, wearing an all-black outfit and ghostly face paint in keeping with the show’s costume dress code. Watch the video below.

Boygenius themselves, made up of artists Lucy Dacus, Julien Baker and Phoebe Bridgers, dressed as the Father, Son and Holy Ghost respectively.

Over the weekend, Grohl and Co. played a pair of songs on Saturday Night Live, inviting H.E.R. along for “The Glass.” The US rock outfit released their new LP, “But Here We Are”, this year.

Boygenius are in the midst of touring in support of their latest release, “The Record”, which was released earlier this year. They have recently dropped a follow-up to the LP called “The Rest”, which contains four brand-new songs.
