Foo Fighters kick off ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ Halloween week with ‘Window’ performance

Foo Fighters opened a Halloween-themed week of appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live! with a performance of “Window” on the October 26 broadcast. The song comes from their latest album, “Your Favorite Toy”, and the television appearance was followed by newly available footage online on October 27.
The appearance is part of a week-long run by the band on the late-night program rather than a one-off performance. Frontman Dave Grohl also joined host Jimmy Kimmel for a separate interview, revisiting moments from his long career.

Grohl’s interview touches on the story of recruiting drummer Taylor Hawkins from Alanis Morissette‘s touring band, his friendship with actor Vin Diesel and Foo Fighters‘ latest record. Grohl has been a recurring presence on Kimmel’s show over the years and served as a guest host in 2017.
The two official videos give fans both sides of the visit: the new song’s live arrangement and the more informal conversation. Further performances are expected during the week, but the band has not yet completed the television residency.
