Floor Jansen’s new single “Run” will be released this week

The new solo single “Run” by Nightwish singer Floor Jansen will be available on Friday, June 26, as per Blabbermouth. After the release of her debut album “Paragon” in March 2023, the song is the first taste of Floor’s new solo music. The album featured a variety of pop-infused songs and poignant ballads influenced by the sounds of the singer’s career, showcasing her remarkable vocal range and powerful voice.

To me, RUN is about no longer making yourself smaller to fit into a shape that was never yours. It’s about taking off the mask, trusting your own movement, and daring to be seen that way. Musically, it feels like the start of something new. A little heavier, a little more direct, but still honest, still melodic, still completely me.
