Finnish folk metallers Ensiferum to tour the US in 2025 with Korpiklaani

Finnish folk metal band Ensiferum has announced a co-headlining tour with fellow Finnish group Korpiklaani for 2025. The tour will kick off on February 27 in Boston, Massachusetts, and conclude on March 30 in Brooklyn, New York. Supporting acts will include Trollfest and NiNi.

“Hi folks! It’s been way too long since we rocked with our North American brothers and sister but the wait is over! It’s an honor to join forces with Korpiklaani, Trollfest and NiNi! This tour will bring the ultimate folk metal mayhem to your city! Definitely a party you don’t wanna miss. See you in the pit!” Bassist and vocalist Sami Hinkka expressed excitement about the tour.

Pre-sale tickets for the tour will be available starting today, October 9, at 1:00 PM ET/10:00 AM PT using the password “FOLKFEST.” General ticket sales will begin this Friday, October 11, at 1:00 PM ET/10:00 AM PT.

Ensiferum is set to release their new album titled “Winter Storm” on October 18th through Metal Blade Records. The album features material written during the COVID lockdown and showcases contributions from various musicians. It will be available in multiple formats including CD and vinyl.
