With hundreds of metal festivals across Europe, the Danish Epic Fest has something different that has been attracting fans from all over the world: the combination of an event focused solely on power metal bands with a fantasy concept, spread throughout the indoor festival theme, fan cosplays and all the magic that surrounds it all.
The fourth edition, Chapter Four: Tales of Might and Magic, of Epic Fest was organized in Roskilde, Denmark from 10th to 11th April with 2.000 people visiting the event. Some of the biggest names in power metal, such as Sonata Arctica, Roy Khan (former Kamelot), Ensiferum, Rhapsody of Fire, Masterplan, Sirenia, Twilight Force and Angus McSix, played there during two special nights. The festival is also a safe place for crowd surfing, being in the middle of a mosh-pit or simply being yourself, meeting friends who share the same passion for everything related to fantasy. Chaoszine was there to make a special live report about this unique metal experience and had the pleasure of talking to fans, Epic Fest promoter Søren Weiss and legendary vocalist Roy Khan.
