Feuerschwanz drops new single and video “SGFRD Dragonslayer”

German pagan / folk metal band Feuerschwanz has released their new single “SGFRD Dragonslayer“, taken from their upcoming album “Fegefeuer”. The LP is set to be released on July 21 via Napalm Records.

On “SGFRD Dragonslayer”, lyrical references to the legendary Siegfried Dragonslayer combine with heavy riffing and Nordic mythology. The blazing official music video, which you can watch below, flawlessly supports the storyline of the track and is executed in true Feuerschwanz style.

The band comments on the new single: “The Siegfried saga is an ancient Nordic myth that has moved and inspired people through the centuries. Man against monster, David against Goliath, a theme where fantasy and reality meet again and again. We let the dragon loose on you – Wagner was yesterday, Metal is today!“
