After two successful editions Full Metal Mayrhofen returns to Zillertal from March 29 to April 3, 2027. Against the backdrop of snow-covered peaks, rustic mountain huts, and the breathtaking Alpine scenery of Mayrhofen, visitors can once again look forward to a festival experience unlike any other in Europe. The event combines world-class metal concerts with winter sports and Alpine charm to create an extraordinary holiday experience. Ticket pre-sales are now available here.
Thousands of metal fans from around the world transformed Mayrhofen into a vibrant meeting place for the international metal community for an entire week. Whether on the ski slopes, during après-ski, or in front of the stages, the entire village became part of the festival experience. Unforgettable concerts, an electrifying atmosphere, and the enthusiasm of the attendees defined the event and highlighted the unique character of Full Metal Mayrhofen.

The first bands for the next edition have already been confirmed: Folk metal heroes Feuerschwanz and heavy metal legends U.D.O. will deliver a powerful start to the line-up, further reinforced by the addition of New Jersey crossover outfit Dog Eat Dog and Italian symphonic power metal band Rhapsody Of Fire. Full Metal Mayrhofen is more than just a festival – it is a getaway in one of Austria’s most beautiful destinations. During the day, visitors can enjoy the slopes, breathtaking mountain panoramas, and cozy alpine huts, while the evenings belong to roaring guitars, mosh pits, and an unforgettable atmosphere.
Following the proven festival concept, concerts will once again take place at the Europahaus Mayrhofen from Monday to Wednesday before the live shows move to the Waldfestplatz for the remaining festival days. At the same time, a diverse entertainment program takes place at several locations across Penken, offering a wide range of activities and experiences. Additional bands and programme highlights will be announced over the coming months, further expanding the line-up – so it definitely pays to stay tuned.

Flexi Ticket 4 in 6 – Valid for two rides on the Penkenbahn on any four days of your choice within a six-day period.
Please note: Free use of the Kombibahn at Penken is included with both tickets, allowing you to travel conveniently between the festival stages throughout the event.
