Due to Mike Patton’s continued mental health concerns, Faith No More and Mr. Bungle had to postpone their September and October 2021 tour dates. Faith No More canceled all of their plans for 2022 as a result of the cancellations. Faith No More never recovered, but Mr. Bungle would return to the stage quite a few times. While Faith No More keyboardist Roddy Bottom briefly discussed the band’s predicament as a “semi permanent hiatus,” Patton would subsequently discuss the matter with the other members of the group. Then, Faith No More bassist Billy Gould shared what he knows about the band’s present state in a recent interview with Radio Futuro, but the news are not that good. At this time, Faith No More hasn’t played shows in ten years. In order to promote their return album “Sol Invictus”, Faith No More staged a number of gigs in 2015. They also performed twice in 2016 with former lead singer Chuck Mosley to commemorate the reissue of their debut album We Care A Lot.
