A few tracks in the new album by The Avalanches will feature Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle)

Three songs from the Australian electronic group The Avalanches‘ latest album titled “No Bad Memories” will feature vocals by Faith No More and Mr. Bungle‘s Mike Patton, as per theprp. Patton has revealed that he will appear on the songs “Paradise Island” with Khadija Al Hanafi, “Total Recall,” and “SuperfunTM TV Spot” with actor Haley Joel Osment.

I have been an Avalanches fan for a long time and was honored to be asked to be part of their new album, NO BAD MEMORIES, where you’ll find me on 3 tracks. Out October 16th!

The lead vocalist of the rock groups Faith No More and Mr. Bungle is Mike Patton, an American singer, songwriter, producer, and voice actor. Tomahawk, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Fantômas, Moonchild Trio, Kaada/Patton, Dead Cross, Lovage, Mondo Cane, The X-ecutioners, The Avett Brothers, and Peeping Tom are among the bands he has fronted and/or performed with. Throughout his extensive career, he has consistently collaborated with hip-hop producer Dan the Automator, classical violinist Eyvind Kang, and avant-garde jazz saxophonist John Zorn. With Faith No More, Patton experienced his greatest level of commercial success; although having just one US hit, they had three UK top 20 singles.

Patton has received critical acclaim and impacted many modern singers. He is renowned for his vocal skill, variety of singing techniques, vast range of projects, style-transcending influences, unconventional public image, and disdain for the music industry. Members of Coheed and Cambria, Deftones, Five Finger Death Punch, Hoobastank, Incubus, Lostprophets, Killswitch Engage, Korn, Queens of the Stone Age, System of a Down, Flummox, Papa Roach, Mushroomhead, and Slipknot have all mentioned him as an inspiration. Merzbow, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Sepultura, Melvins, Melt-Banana, and Kool Keith are just a few of the artists Patton has produced or co-produced. In 1999, he and Greg Werckman co-founded Ipecac Recordings, which he has managed ever since.
