In fact, Faith No More will resume touring in 2027, as per theprp. Word spread that the band had inked a worldwide contract with promoter 30e after tantalising fans on social media yesterday about a comeback next year. Billy Gould, the band’s bassist, confirmed the news in a recent interview with Rock Talk (see below). The band’s future was uncertain for a number of years before this much-needed comeback. The band’s touring plans were cancelled in 2021 when vocalist Mike Patton had to deal with his mental health issues. However, Faith No More became dormant once Patton got expert assistance and resumed touring with his other bands.

Members of the band later commented that the delay was caused by Patton’s reluctance to rejoin Faith No More. However, such tensions have significantly decreased in recent months.

Yeah, we’re gonna do it. We’re gonna play. Yeah, we’re gonna do it. I think… you know, our music is very physical, and a big concern is, like, pretty soon we’re not gonna be able to do this the way we wrote it. We wrote it as 20-year-olds and it and it’s always been very physical. It has to be that way. I can’t play the song if I’m not like that, honestly. With my bass parts, I just can’t do it. But I think… I mean, we all kind of decided, like, we think we can do it. I think that we can do it for a few more years, and we can do it the right way, so we’re gonna give it a go.

The trio just inked a long-term contract with South American promoter 30e for upcoming international touring ventures, according to Pollstar. System Of A Down signed a similar international agreement with 30e in January of last year, indicating the company’s continued growth into representing popular metal acts.
