Epic Fest 2027 expands its realm with Hagane, HammerFall‘s 30th anniversary celebration, and an ever-growing lineup of Power Metal heroes.
The realm of Epic Fest 2027 continues to grow, welcoming both legendary champions and rising heroes for another unforgettable gathering of Heavy and Power Metal in Roskilde, Denmark.
Returning from Japan are Hagane, whose electrifying late-night performance at Epic Fest 2026 became one of the festival’s defining moments. Their explosive blend of virtuoso musicianship, soaring melodies, and unstoppable energy left fans wanting more. Following the release of their acclaimed new EP, “Metal Quest”, the band returns in 2027 with an even greater honor, opening the festival from the Main Stage on Friday, April 9.
Standing among the festival’s greatest highlights is Swedish Heavy Metal institution HammerFall, celebrating the 30th anniversary of their legendary debut album, “Glory to the Brave”. Widely regarded as one of the albums that reignited traditional Heavy Metal and helped launch the modern Power Metal movement, HammerFall will perform a special anniversary set featuring songs from the iconic record alongside an arsenal of classics spanning three decades.
These two announcements further strengthen what is already shaping up to be Epic Fest’s most ambitious edition to date.
