70000TONS OF METAL 2027 will sail from Miami, FL to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and back from January 14-18, 2027 aboard Royal Caribbean’s luxury cruise ship Freedom of the Seas. The festival offers round-the-clock entertainment, from explosive performances on the Biggest Open Air Stage Structure to ever Sail the Open Seas, to artist-hosted activities and events, meet & greets with every band, and the opportunity for fans to mingle with their Heavy Metal Heroes in a unique environment.

Continuing the tradition of bringing fans one-of-a-kind events: Finnish “Winter Metal” band Wolfheart will do a World Live Premiere of their upcoming album during the January 2027 cruise. Footage from this performance will be included in an upcoming music video.
