Author Sabrina Ramdoyal - 19.8.2024

While many bands graced on several stages at Wacken Open Air, a select few have become synonymous with the festival’s spirit, returning to deliver unforgettable performances. Among these were Germany’s own phenomenons Blind Guardian and Avantasia who brought their own unique flair of storytelling that resonated long after the final notes fade. Beast In Black embraced all with love, Canadian newcomers Spiritbox heading further forward into their music journey, Californian headliners Korn transporting their sold-out crowd into an old-school sonic trip and Swedish black metal lords Watain unleashing sounds from their dangerously passionate 4th studio album “Lawless Darkness” in its entirity. Enjoy our take from more of the bands who enchanted all on day 3 of festivities!
