HOKKA unleashes new single “Vampire” with Lost Society’s Samy Elbanna and The 69 Eyes’ Jussi 69 – Watch the official music video

HOKKA have released a new single titled “Vampire,” featuring guest appearances from two familiar names in the Finnish rock and metal scene: Lost Society’s Samy Elbanna and The 69 Eyes’ Jussi 69.

Naturally, Samy Elbanna handles guitar duties on the single, while Jussi 69 takes his place behind the drum kit. Joel Hokka says the song was born out of friendship and the sheer joy of making music together:

”What a privilege to share this track with my dearest friends & brothers. Samy, Jussi, Jimi & Pauli know how much this kind of stuff means to me after everything that I’ve gone through lately. Vampire is 100% pure rock’n’roll joyride. I hope this will be the official Halloween 2026 soundtrack for many of you.”

Jussi 69 says he was more than happy to join the project, not least because of the friendship behind it. He and Elbanna also share a history through The Local Band, which Jussi 69 founded with Children of Bodom guitarist Alexi Laiho:

”I love doing collabs with friends. I really like Hokka’s stuff and this time when I heard the title of the track I said i’m in! With Samy Elbanna I have a long history playing with him in The Local Band, project started by me and my brother, late great Alexi Laiho. It’s been wild to watch Samy’s incredible talent and growth to one of the best shredders right now and he definitely gave his trademark to the song which is unreal! Hope you dig the track as much i do!”

Samy Elbanna also says that joining the project was an easy decision to make:

”When there was talk about jumping on a track with Finland’s finest who just so happened to also be my great friends and brothers, I was already in – and once I heard the track I knew this would be insanely fun to do. A big riff, a massive chorus and a chance to shred louder than ever; what’s not to love. The OG Helsinki vampire and the new generation are coming for you!”

HOKKA and Lost Society are set to hit the road soon for the Finnish leg of their “Miseria Is A State Of Mind Tour 2026.” The tour will continue across UK and Europe in February, with the full list of dates below:
