Spiritbox release new single with video “Mourning”

Spiritbox, a Canadian alternative metal band, has released a brand-new song called “Mourning“, as per theprp. Alex Bemis and Mike Stringer, the band’s guitarist, co-directed the music video, which was recently posted online. Alongside their preferred producer, Dan Braunstein (Dayseeker, Fit For A King), Stringer co-produced the song. This song sets up Spiritbox’s impending autumn headline tour, which will take them throughout Europe and the UK alongside Jinjer and Dying Wish.

Singer Courtney LaPlante and guitarist Mike Stringer were members of Iwrestledabearonce before to co-founding Spiritbox. During this period, the couple was engaged and had intended to start their own joint musical endeavour since 2011. They made the decision to leave the band in late 2015. Each of LaPlante and Stringer had taken the place of a former member of Iwrestledabearonce, and they were never at ease with that position in the group. They also wanted to go in a different artistic and personal direction.
