Video footage available of Oli Sykes (Bring Me The Horizon) and Courtney LaPlante (Spiritbox) performing live “If The Sun Burns Out Tonight”

Last night (October 18) at the 2026 VALORANT Champions Grand Finals Opening Ceremony in Shanghai, China, the aptly named musical three-way involving Grabbitz, Oli Sykes of Bring Me The Horizon, and Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox made its premiere. Although the EDM drops in the track “If The Sun Burns Out Tonight” broke the initial anticipation of a breakdown, the live performance combined elements of the two. As the synth becomes gritty and punchy toward the end of the track, a fairly hefty bassline charges throughout. Despite the genre change, the artist’s metal roots are still very much there, as evidenced by their use of unclean vocals at various moments throughout the live performance.
