Finnish new formed band Cemetery Skyline recently released their new track “Torn Away“. This new goth metal band, formed by vocalist Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity, The Halo Effect), guitarist Markus Vanhala (Insomnium, Omnium Gatherum, I Am The Night), keyboardist Santeri Kallio (Amorphis), bassist Victor Brandt (Dimmu Borgir, Witchery, Ex-Entombed/Entombed A.D., Ex-Firespawn) and drummer Vesa Ranta (Sentenced, The Abbey), had their live debut at John Smith Rock Fest in Laukaa, Finland, last July. Their debut album “Nordic Gothic” will come out this October 11th via Century Media.

Vocalist Mikael Stanne commented on the new single “Torn Away“:

“This is a song about willful disconnection from everything and everyone and its eventual ramifications. Written very early in the band’s lifecycle, this song set much of the tone of what the album would become.”
