Hypocrisy cancel their North American tour dates at short notice due to “visa issues beyond our control”

In exactly one week, Hypocrisy‘s North American tour was supposed to kick off in the Canadian city of Toronto. However, the Swedish melodic death metal band around frontman Peter Tägtgren has now been forced to cancel its dates at short notice:

“Due to visa issues beyond our control, we won’t be able to make it to the North American tour. We’re devastated, and truly sorry – we did everything we could. We’re not giving up. We’ll keep working to make this right and get to you as soon as we can! Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support! If you have questions about refunds, please contact your original ticket seller.”

Most of Hypocrisy‘s North American tour dates were scheduled as part of Dimmu Borgir‘s “Grand Serpent Rising North America 2026” tour, which appears to be going ahead as planned.
