Bullet For My Valentine will release their new album, “Social Apocalypse”, on 19 March 2027 via Spinefarm. The announcement is accompanied by the title track, which comes four years after their last studio album. In the track “Social Apocalypse”, Matt Tuck speaks out against the “end of the world as we knew it”, when “all hope has now vanished”. Watch the video HERE.
Thematically, this new album combines the unflinching introspection of someone worn down by the modern world with universal observations about a planet that seems to be spiralling out of control. “Everything is changing too quickly and it’s hard to find any positivity when you think about what’s going on in the world,” says Tuck. “ We’re being pitted against one another. The world is full of conflict; there’s no unity. As a father, I see what the world has to offer the younger generation and think about how different it is now.”
“Social Apocalypse” sees the band once again working with producer Carl Brown, who – now a veteran with four BFMV albums under his belt – has also collaborated with Sleep Token, While She Sleeps and Malevolence, amongst others. Every track on the album has been analysed, crafted and polished to its immaculate final form. “Carl doesn’t let you rest on your laurels,” comments Tuck, “he’s always ready to have a chat and bring out the best in you.”
There are no fewer than two guest appearances on “Social Apocalypse”, a real first for Bullet For My Valentine: Chrissy Costanza of Against The Current on “In The Absence Of You” and Will Ramos of Lorna Shore on “I Don’t Trust Tomorrow”.
