Legendary heavy metal band Black Sabbath have announced that they will play their last concert with their original line-up in Birmingham, England on July 5th, 2025. The one-day event will feature original members Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward, who have not played together for 20 years.
The concert is part of a wider festival that has been described as “the biggest heavy metal show of all time”. Other well-known bands such as Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, Gojira and Anthrax will also perform, as well as Alice in Chains, Lamb of God and Mastodon.
In addition, a special supergroup including Slash, Fred Durst, Billy Corgan, Wolfgang Van Halen and Tom Morello will take to the stage. Ozzy Osbourne will make a brief solo appearance before the band’s official show.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to charity, including Parkinson’s disease research and local children’s hospitals and care homes.
