Good news for all fans who wanted to see the Swedish dark 80s style synth-pop band Priest, which partly consists of former band members of the Swedish rock heavyweights Ghost, perform at the legendary “Whisky A Go Go” in Los Angeles this Wednesday (8 January 2025) and instead had to deal with a cancellation, due to the wildfires currently raging in Los Angeles: A new date has been found and the show will take place still this month, on 27 January 2025.

“//LOS_ANGELES// The show at the Whisky have been moved to January 27! See you soon.”

– Priest

According to the website of “Whisky A Go Go”, Vampires Everywhere!, who were scheduled to perform alongside Priest on Wednesday, will also be part of the new date. It remains to be seen whether Priest will use the newly confirmed date at “Whisky A Go Go” to record the show “for a potential live album”, as was planned for the cancelled show on Wednesday. Those of you who live near the venue and don’t want to wait until 27 January 2025 can see Priest, Vampires Everywhere! and Julien-K at “The Parish at House Of Blues Anaheim” in Anaheim, California, tonight, which is less than an hour’s car ride from “Whisky A Go Go”.
