AC/DC expected to announce tour on Monday

AC/DC‘s official website has started a countdown that is scheduled to hit zero on Monday, February 12 at 3:00am EST / 12:00am PST. While no one knows exactly what it stands for, it is widely believed that it will coincide with an announcement of the details of the band’s first tour in eight years. The countdown timer was shared alongside a form where fans can sign up for the band’s mailing list.

AC/DC‘s social media were recently updated with a trailer showing the lightning bolt from the band’s logo flickering before the words “ARE YOU READY” show on the screen. The song of the same title, from their 1990 album “The Razors Edge”, can be heard on that clip.

AC/DC‘s first show in seven years took place last October 07 at Power Trip festival in Indio, California, with drummer Matt Laug behind the kit.
