It seems that more details about Bad Wolves‘ impending makeover will be released on Monday, June 29, as per theprp. So far, in recent months, a number of tidbits about the multi-platinum alternative metal band’s future phase have surfaced. Drummer John Boecklin has been observed recreating the band following a continuous lineup exodus that saw many members leave. Boecklin decided to revive Bad Wolves with new members after rejecting a rumoured seven-figure offer from former vocalist Tommy Vext to purchase the group’s rights. There have been rumours that Animals As Leaders guitarist Javier Reyes and Sara “Killboy” Skinner will be joining the band as singers.
Although bassist Kevin Creekman and guitarist AJ Rebollo have been spotted with the group in studio pictures, their current situation is still unknown. According to Boecklin, the trio has been working on a fifth studio album this year. An impending June 29th reveal is hinted to in a tease given by Bad Wolves on June 22nd, and that post can be found below, suggesting that the moment is almost here. A few of the band’s former members have pursued other endeavours. Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz, a vocalist, has joined Falling In Reverse‘s touring lineup. Doc Coyle, a guitarist, has returned with God Forbid and is currently touring with Snot. Tommy Vext and guitarist Chris Cain are getting ready to start their new band, With A Vengeance.
The American heavy metal group Bad Wolves was founded in 2017 in Los Angeles, California. After initially becoming well-known for their cover of The Cranberries‘ 1994 hit song “Zombie,” the band went on to achieve more success with other songs that peaked at the top of the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart, such as “Remember When,” “Killing Me Slowly,” and “Sober.” “Disobey” (2018), “N.A.T.I.O.N.” (2019), “Dear Monsters” (2021), and “Die About It” (2023) are the band’s four studio albums. Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz took over as the band’s lead vocalist after Tommy Vext quit in January 2021. Vext and the band experienced tensions, which led to legal actions, notably Better Noise Music. The band is presently working on their fifth studio album while undergoing lineup changes.
