The multi-platinum alternative metal group is anticipated to make a comeback with a drastically changed lineup put together by drummer John Boecklin. According to previous rumours, Sara “Killboy” Skinner would be singing, and Javier Reyes, the guitarist for Animals As Leaders, has also been mentioned as having joined the group. The group has not yet provided an official confirmation. As of right now, the release date of this next single is Monday, June 29.
The American heavy metal group Bad Wolves was founded in 2017 in Los Angeles, California. After initially becoming well-known for their cover of The Cranberries‘ 1994 hit song “Zombie,” the band went on to achieve more success with other songs that peaked at the top of the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart, such as “Remember When,” “Killing Me Slowly,” and “Sober.” “Disobey” (2018), “N.A.T.I.O.N.” (2019), “Dear Monsters” (2021), and “Die About It” (2023) are the band’s four studio albums. Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz took over as the band’s lead vocalist after Tommy Vext quit in January 2021. Vext and the band experienced tensions, which led to legal actions, notably Better Noise Music. The band is presently working on their fifth studio album while undergoing lineup changes.
Boecklin began writing the songs for the band’s debut album in July 2014, and he and producer Mark Lewis joined AudioHammer Studios in Sanford, Florida, in 2016. Drummer John Boecklin (formerly DevilDriver), singer Tommy Vext (formerly Divine Heresy, former Westfield Massacre), lead guitarist Doc Coyle (formerly God Forbid), rhythm guitarist Chris Cain (formerly Bury Your Dead, former For the Fallen Dreams), and bassist Kyle Konkiel (formerly In This Moment, former Scar the Martyr, and Vimic) founded Bad Wolves in 2017. Zoltan Bathory of Five Finger Death Punch is in charge of them. The group declared that on May 11, 2018, their first studio album, “Disobey”, would be released. Ten of “Disobey'”s thirteen tracks were composed and recorded prior to Vext joining the group.
