Vulvodynia teases what it looks to be a new vocalist

The band stablished in Durban back in 2014 has just announced on their social media that “A new era is coming” alongside a picture of the actual line-up (also Nate Gilbert, who’s been their tour bassist on these last years) which has someone’s silhouette in front…
Who could it be? Well, the band will make it official today.

Until now, since 2023, their guitarist Lwandile Prusent has been the one who carried the vocal role. The almost-30 y/o South African mentioned on multiple times his ambitions on getting to cover both roles at the same time, but being such a technical style that Vulvodynia has, it could be a very challenging decission, but seems like things are getting back as they were two years ago, with him playing the guitar again but also doing backing vocals as we can confirm.

Luckily, we do know (and pretty well) who’s hiding behind that face. He’s no other than Zion Bittenbender. The young american has proved his potential on these last years, releasing some of the most brutal vocal covers on the metal community. It has been such a surprise for everyone that has realised on a first look (when I’m writting this, people keeps wondering who could it be).

From Chaaoszine we can fully confirm that Zion will be performing on their upcoming European tour supporting All Shall Perish w/PeelingFlesh, Acranius and Necrotted but; will he be on stage at their Asian Tour right up before the EU one? We’ll solve all our doubts soon!
