Ville Valo says he is training “shit ton” for upcoming tour: “I’m Determined Not To Stain The Memory Of The HIM Songs”

Ville Valo, the front man of the legendary rock band HIM, recently released the single “Loveletting” from his new solo project VV. It is a taste of VV’s upcoming album, which will be released in 2023.

With the album, Valo and his band are also preparing for gigs. The extensive international VV / Neon Noir Tour 2023 will kick off in January next year at Tavastia club Helsinki and will go on through all over Europe.

In a recent interview with Metal Hammer, Valo says that he takes the upcoming tour very seriously.

“I like to be early and have long deadlines as I’ve got to get a band together. I’m sure it’ll be fine and dandy, but there’ll be a load of rehearsals to be done and I’m one of those people who needs to rehearse shit tonnes. It’s going to be a weird year, but I’m determined not to stain the memory of the HIM songs.”
