VV – Sunday service in the key of Love Metal

Author Tomi Vesaharju - 22.1.2023

The third and the last sold out show of the VV solo tour Tavastia stint was an eclectic and ecstatic gathering that followed the exact same script as the previous two nights. Kælan Mikla started the night with their hypnotic set that was both visually and audio wise very interesting and fresh. The post punk apocalyptic soundscape was hypnotic, raw and just perfect for the opening slot. You can check out photos from the event below:

Kaelan Mikla:

VV

As the clock turned into 21:00 the maestro of the evening and his band took the stage. I’ve seen Ville Valo performing on multiple times on many decades before and I must admit that I have not ever seen him smiling this much and interacting with the audience as much as these past 2 nights I witnessed at Tavastia. He was clearly enjoying his stay on the stage.
