A November 6 concert headlined by Trapt at the Guadalajara Night Club in Fort Pierce, Florida, has sparked a public dispute after two opening bands complained that their performances were cut short.
Dirty Crumbums alleged that they had initially been allocated 30 minutes but were told their set would be reduced to 20 minutes because the headliner reportedly wanted to finish early. The group claimed its microphones and instruments were then cut off after approximately 17 minutes.
The musicians shared footage and statements on social media. Fellow opener Fear Of Infirmity also reported a shortened performance. These accounts are allegations from the support acts; the stated reason for the changes has not been independently confirmed.
The disagreement continued during Trapt‘s headlining set, when members of Dirty Crumbums and some audience members reportedly chanted the support band’s initials. Trapt vocalist Chris Taylor Brown had those involved removed from the venue.
The episode subsequently spilled over onto social media, with supporters of the opening band posting comments on the headliner’s accounts. No independently verified explanation from the venue or promoter was available in the cited report.
The incident occurred during Trapt‘s tour celebrating their self-titled debut album.
