Portuguese deathcore outfit The Voynich Code is back with a vengeance, unleashing a ferocious new single titled “Serpents Meridian”. Marking their first release since 2023, the track is now available for streaming across all major platforms—and you can give it a spin below.

Alongside the new single, the band also introduces a revamped lineup. Frontman duties are now in the hands of Jack Kinsey, who steps in to replace Nelson Rebelo, who departed earlier this month. Jack Higgs makes his debut as guitarist, while Vinicius Cunha shifts from guitar to bass. André Afonso stays on guitar, and Daniel Torgal continues to man the drums.

The Voynich Code is also gearing up for a European tour with American metalcore giants Born of Osiris. The tour hits Portugal this June, with the band performing at Hard Club in Porto on June 1st and at LAV – Lisboa ao Vivo in Lisbon on June 3rd.
