Static-X is preparing a follow-up to the album “Project Regeneration”, which featured the surviving vocal tracks of late singer-guitarist Wayne Static, according to the band’s bassist Tony Campos.

The upcoming album will feature Static’s vocal tracks, as well as compositions and arrangements from the original “Wisconsin Death Trip” line-up. As with the first “Project Regeneration” album, Ulrich Wild has been hired to produce the follow-up.

“The songs are compiled from the demo tapes that came to us,” Campos says in an interview with Rock Talks. “The aim is to keep the album in line with the first part in terms of production, so that the whole package sounds like one well thought-out project instead of two albums.”
