As we reported earlier, the Swedish dark 80s style synth-pop band Priest, which partly consists of former band members of the Swedish rock heavyweights Ghost, had announced a new single, “Zombie Night“, which was set for a release “exclusively on vinyl” on 6 June 2026. Now, the release has been postponed at short notice due to vinyl pressing delays:
“Quick Update on ZOMBIE NIGHT. It was almost in your hands, but the vinyl factories had other plans. Vinyl pressing times are running longer than expected, so the release is being pushed back a little. We’ll confirm the new date as soon as we know more. In the meantime – Pre-orders are still open. Three limited 7″ versions and no stream til’ Halloween! Secure your copy before it disappears FOR EVERRRR.”

“Zombie Night” is Priest‘s first new single since the release of their live album “Live In Hollywood” on 19 December 2025 via Blue Nine Records (The corresponding live album review can be read here). “Zombie Night” can be pre-ordered here, and some video footage from its first live performance can be watched here.
