Post-metal band Som releases video for “The Light” – new album out now
US post-metal band Som has released a music video for “The Light”. The song is from the band’s third album “Let The Light In”, released today via Pelagic Records. The video was directed by Samia Zaidi, who has also directed the band’s previous music videos.
During the writing and recording process of the album, the band faced significant changes when founding member and drummer Duncan Rich left the band. This led to a renewed creative approach and a reworking of the material. With the new line-up, bassist Justin Forrest took over on drums and vocalist Will Benoit took over on bass.
