Mat Bruso said goodbye to Bury Your Dead — but not quite yet
Mat Bruso, the vocalist for Bury Your Dead, abruptly announced his departure from the band during their live performance at the annual “Furnace Fest” in Birmingham, Alabama, last fall. As it turned out, Bruso’s decision surprised not just the festival attendees but even his fellow musicians. With the benefit of hindsight, it seems that he now wants to give the metalcore group a fitting farewell, this time with everyone in the group understanding how final the performance is.
