Long-running Oakland metal outfit Machine Head‘s plans to release their tenth studio album in the summer of 2022 have been coming to fruition. It was previously revealed that the band’s vocalist/guitarist Robb Flynn and bassist/vocalist Jared MacEachern were holed up at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, CA last month, hammering out six new songs for the record.

All of those songs and potentially more should now have drum tracks, as Entheos/ex-Animals As Leaders drummer Navene Koperweis was once again recruited to handle the studio drumming, completing his parts this week. Koperweis previously worked with the band on their 3-song single, “Arrows In Words From The Sky“.

As with the aforementioned single, those sessions look to have taken place with producer Zack Ohren (SuffocationWarbringer) at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, CA.
