Machine Head announce a 15th anniversary edition of their album “Unto The Locust”

On September 25th, a 15th anniversary edition of Machine Head‘s seventh studio album, “Unto The Locust” (2011), will be released, as per theprp. The album’s new celebration vinyl pressing will only be available in 1500 copies globally on dark green marble vinyl with etching on side D. Nuclearblast.com is presently accepting preorders for a fresh CD print run of the record, which is scheduled to be released on that date.

The American heavy metal group Machine Head is based in Oakland, California. Robb Flynn, the band’s lead singer and guitarist, founded the group in 1991 and is still the only original member. Machine Head was one of the first bands in the new wave of American heavy metal because of its aggressive musicianship. Flynn, drummer Matt Alston, guitarist Reece Scruggs, and bassist Jared MacEachern make up its current lineup. Former band members include bassist Adam Duce, drummers Tony Costanza, Chris Kontos, and Dave McClain, and guitarists Logan Mader, Ahrue Lustre, Phil Demmel, and Wacław Kiełtyka; As part of the band’s 25th anniversary tour for its debut album, “Burn My Eyes” (1994), Mader and Kontos played with the group in 2019 and 2020.
