Les Binks of Judas Priest has passed away

Author Benedetta Baldin - 15.4.2025

At the age of 73, James Leslie Binks, who was a drummer with Judas Priest from 1977 to 1979, passed suddenly. Binks passed away on March 15, 2025. He was featured on two Priest albums, “Stained Class” and “Killing Machine” (sometimes called “Hell Bent For Leather”), both of which were released in 1978. As a member of Judas Priest, Binks received the Award for Musical Excellence in 2022, which led to his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. On November 5, 2022, Binks made his first appearance with Judas Priest in forty-three years, performing a three-song set with the band during their Rock and Roll Fall of Fame induction ceremony. On behalf of the Chaoszine team, I’d like to extend my sympathies to his family, friends and loved ones.
