Insomnium release new single with video “Arch of the Sky”

With their new single and video “Arch of the Sky,” the Finnish masters of melancholy, Insomnium, venture into the realm of mythology.

A comment from Ville Friman (guitar, clean vocals):

“‘Arch of the Sky’ reveals a more progressive side of ‘Netherworlds,’ characterized by tempo changes and Insomnium’s signature blend of smooth passages and heavier sections. Lyrically, the song draws inspiration from Sámi mythology, in which celestial hunters chase a deer across the ever-shifting arch of the sky. According to legend, if the deer were ever captured, the world would come to an end because the roof of the sky would collapse.”
