High On Fire’s Matt Pike to release his solo album in February: new single available
Matt Pike, frontman of the metal band High On Fire, will release his first solo album in February. The album is called “Pike vs. the Automaton” and will be released on February 18th via MNRK Heavy.
Jon Reid, who played drums in Lord Dying, contributed to the songs. Production was handled by Billy Anderson, who worked on Sleep’s album “Sleep’s Holy Mountain” and High On Fire’s album “Surrounded By Thieves”.
Other guests on the album include Mastodon’s Brent Hinds and High On Fire bassist Jeff Matz.
