Gradience release “Undone” video ahead of debut album “Anomaly”

Danish metalcore band Gradience just dropped their new single “Undone”, and it lands with a video you can stream now. The track is the fourth single from their debut full-length “Anomaly”, which arrives on September 4th through Metal Blade Records.

Vocalist Gavin Mistry explained that “Undone” deals with speaking negative thoughts out loud instead of keeping them buried. He described it as recognizing you don’t have to face your flaws alone, and letting friends and loved ones help you through dark thought patterns.

Gradience formed after Gavin and guitarist Jakob Lærke Harris connected at a Copenhagen show for deathcore act Cabal in 2022. Before that, Gavin had been signed to Sony in Denmark with his grunge, rock, and trap duo KXDS, a project the COVID pandemic derailed. Earlier still, he worked with an underground hip-hop label and collective.

Jakob called the pairing an immediate creative match. He admired how easily Gavin switched between melody lines and harder flows, which opened new doors in their songwriting.

The lineup also features drummer Frederik Kjelstrup Hansen and bassist Patrick Petersen. “Anomaly” arrives on CD, LP, and digital formats. Pre-orders are live here.
