Danish metal band Gradience have announced their debut UK tour, kicking off March 2, 2027 in Huddersfield. The eight-date run features support from Survivalist. It follows the release of the band’s debut full-length “Anomaly,” out now on Metal Blade Records.
“Playing the UK is a real bucket-list moment for us,” says guitarist Jakob Lærke Harris. “We’ve drawn so much inspiration from UK bands over the years, and many of those influences found their way into the writing and sound of Anomaly. To finally bring the album to the UK and play these songs for the audience that comes from such a huge part of our musical inspiration is incredibly exciting. And we’re stoked to be doing it alongside our friends in Survivalist!”
Alongside the tour news, Gradience have dropped a video for “Vermin,” the opening track from “Anomaly.”
“Vermin is the opener for our album ‘Anomaly’, for good reason,” Harris explains. “It encapsulates everything the album represents in a flurry of riffs, rap bars, melancholic melodies and screams. It’s a personal favorite on the album for me.”
Gradience started as a duo in Copenhagen in 2022 after vocalist Gavin Mistry and guitarist Jakob Lærke Harris met at a Cabal show. Mistry had previously signed with Sony Denmark for his project KXDS. Together, they built a sound that merges blackened death metal with trap-rap. The band has since grown into a four-piece, with drummer Frederik Kjelstrup Hansen and bassist Patrick Petersen completing the lineup.
Before heading to the United Kingdom, Gradience play Ålborg Metal Festival in November. They also have a run of Danish dates with Cabal in December.
“Anomaly” features 11 tracks. It’s out now on CD, LP, and digital formats through Metal Blade Records. Previously released videos from the album include “Agony,” “Deathwish,” “Master To The Slave,” “White Noise,” and “Undone.”
