Arctic Monkeys and Guns N’ Roses will be headliners at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, organisers have announced.
The renowned British fest, which returns to Somerset’s Worthy Farm from June 21-25, announced the top acts as part of its poster reveal on Friday morning. The two iconic rock bands join previously-announced headliner Sir Elton John who will play the last UK show of his farewell tour at Worthy Farm.
Alex Turner and his bandmates are due to top the Pyramid Stage for the third time on Friday, June 23 ahead of Guns N’ Roses making their Worthy Farm debut the following night (June 24).
Other artists on the line-up include Lizzo, Lana Del Rey, Lil Nas X, Manic Street Preachers, Wizkid, and Blondie. Yusuf, also known as Cat Stevens, will play the “legend slot”, previously occupied by Kylie and Dolly Parton.
Organizers are expected to announce many more acts as part of its lineup in the weeks to come.
