Turnstile is on its way to Fortnite! This Thursday, April 30, the Fortnite Festival rhythm game mode will feature the title track “NEVER ENOUGH” by the melodic hardcore band from Baltimore, as per Lambgoat.
Upcoming shows:
The hardcore movement in Baltimore gave rise to Turnstile in 2010. Reaper Records issued their first EP, “Pressure to Succeed”, in 2011 and their second EP, “Step 2 Rhythm”, in 2013. Turnstile’s first full-length album, “Nonstop Feeling”, was also released on Reaper Records on January 13, 2015. Producer Brian McTernan recorded the album at Salad Days Studios. Turnstile embarked on the Nonstop Feeling Tour, an East Coast and West Coast tour with Superheaven, to support the album’s release. Additionally, they provided support for New Found Glory during their tour in the spring of 2015. Following the tour, their guitarist Sean Cullen left, and Pat McCrory of the hardcore band Angel Dust, which is based in Baltimore, took his place.
Turnstile‘s third EP, “Move Thru Me”, was released on September 16, 2016. The album peaked at No. 19 on the Hard Rock Albums chart and No. 14 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. With assistance from Angel Dust, Big Bite, Krimewatch, Fury, and Lock on a few gigs in the autumn of 2016, the band set off on the Move Thru Me Tour across the United States. In the autumn of 2017, the band started recording their second album under Roadrunner Records, which they finished in early 2018. Will Yip produced the record at his Studio 4 recording facility. The band’s first album with a big label, “Time & Space”, was released on February 23, 2018.
