Former Nightwish members Marko Hietala and Tarja Turunen collaborate on new song “Left on Mars”
Former Nightwish members Marko “Marco” Hietala and Tarja Turunen have collaborated on a new song called “Left on Mars,” to be released on Wednesday, March 13.
Earlier today (Saturday, March 9), Hietala and Turunen, who are currently on the road together in South America as part of the “Living the Dream – The Hits Tour 2024,” shared a video message in which they announced the “Left on Mars” single.
“After these long 20 years, we’ve actually recorded a totally new duet,” Marko said. “This is a song that I wrote with my bandmates, and it’s called ‘Left on Mars‘.” Tarja added: “[It’s a] very beautiful song. [I] can’t wait for you to hear it.” Hietala continued: “On 13th of March, it’s gonna be out. Real soon.” Turunen stated: “Very soon.“
