Foo Fighters divulge that Dave Grohl played drums on upcoming album “But Here We Are”

After revealing Josh Freese as their new drummer for their upcoming tour, Foo Fighters have divulged that vocalist/guitarist Dave Grohl has taken the drumming duties during the recording sessions of their upcoming album, “But Here We Are”. This followed late drummer Taylor Hawkins’ untimely death in 2022.

Having sat behind the kit in his Nirvana days, Grohl‘s role as drummer on the new album was mentioned yesterday, May 21, during Foo Fighters‘ free livestream event.

The album has a release date set for June 02, and the band will start their tour this week. You can check out the dates below:
