Grian Chatten, frontman for Dublin post-punk band Fontaines D.C, has announced his first solo album, “Chaos For The Fly”, set to be released on June 30 via Partisan Records. The LP includes Chatten’s recent single “The Score” and a new song called “Fairlies.” You can watch the official video below and pre-order the album here.

Chatten co-produced “Chaos For The Fly” with Fontaines D.C.’s go-to producer Dan Carey. “A lot of the album was written with just me and a guitar and I really like the idea of it being boiled down to those elements. That feeling of having the song in the palm of your hand, that control of having it with just you and a guitar. There’s an intensity as a result of that.“, the vocalist states.

Fontaines D.C. have released three studio albums: 2019’s “Dogrel”, 2020’s “A Hero’s Death”, and last year’s “Skinty Fia”. In February, the Dublin-based post-punks won the Best International Group award at the Brit Awards.
