Idles announces new album “Tangk”, recruits LCD Soundsystem for new track “Dancer”

British rock band Idles have announced their new album “Tangk”, set to be released on February 16 via Partisan. The group has also unveiled a new song called “Dancer“, which features vocals from LCD Soundsystem‘s James Murphy and Nancy Whang. Watch the official music video below.

“Tangk” was co-produced by Idles guitarist Mark Bowen with Radiohead collaborator Nigel Godrich and hip-hop producer Kenny Beats.

Vocalist Joe Talbot commented on the album in a statement, “TANGK. I needed love. So I made it. I gave love out to the world and it feels like magic. This is our album of gratitude and power. All love songs. All is love.

The upcoming opus follows the band’s Grammy-nominated album “Crawler”.
