Finnish indie rock band Shakals releases new single “Left Here to Drown”

The Helsinki-based indie rock band Shakals has just released their latest single, “Left Here to Drown.” You can listen to the track below or on streaming platforms.

With this single, the band taps into their roots, pairing their signature synth-driven sound with gritty stoner rock tones and a fierce, driving rhythm section. “Left Here to Drown” also offers a glimpse of what’s to come in their upcoming releases, much of which Shakals spent the summer working on.

Despite its heavy exterior, the song ultimately aims to reassure listeners that everything’s going to be okay.

Shakals will return to the stage for the first time in a while on Wednesday, November 6th, at On the Rocks in Helsinki, performing alongside fellow Helsinki band Get In.
