The Firefly Trilogy by Rob Zombie will be released in a special edition

On October 13, 2026, Lionsgate will release Rob Zombie‘s “Firefly Trilogy” as an eight-disc collector’s set in 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and digital, as per Blabbermouth. “House Of 1000 Corpses,” “The Devil’s Rejects,” and “3 From Hell” are all included in the collection, and “House Of 1000 Corpses” will be accessible on 4K for the first time. Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, Sheri Moon Zombie, Karen Black, Ken Foree, William Forsythe, Richard Brake, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Dee Wallace, Emilio Rivera, and Danny Trejo are among the cast members of the trilogy, which is written and directed by Rob Zombie.

An unique collectible poster, a photography book selected by Zombie, artwork by Zombie, art cards, and artwork by Vance Kelly are all included in the new eight-disc collector’s edition. The four-part “To Hell And Back: The Making Of 3 From Hell” and the full-length documentary “30 Days in Hell: The Making Of The Devil’s Rejects” are only two of the many resources devoted to the creation of the trilogy. Behind-the-scenes video and extensive audio commentary from Zombie are additional features. Dolby Vision will also be used in “House Of 1000 Corpses” and “The Devil’s Rejects” 4K presentations.

Zombie acknowledged to The Pulse of Radio some time ago that it might be difficult for him to shift the fact that all of his films have been firmly in the horror and exploitation genres.

I think that sometimes when you try to break out of something, it can be a big mistake. You have to transition your way out of something. You can’t just go, ‘I’m not a comedian anymore, take me serious as an actor.’ You know, it never works, ’cause it’s a lot to ask from your fans and an audience to go like, ‘Hey man, I know you love this, but check this out.’ It’s too much to ask. Actually, I think it’s pretty egotistical to think that that’s gonna happen, you know. You have to move slowly that way.

Rob Zombie is a musician, filmmaker, and writer who has directed eight feature films, including “31” (2016) and “The Lords of Salem” (2012). The 2007 reimagining of John Carpenter’s “Halloween” and its follow-up, “Halloween 2,” are among his other directing credits. Additionally, Zombie created the R-rated animated film “The Haunted World Of El Superbeasto” based on his own comic book series.
